Shontel Horne

Shontel Horne is a writer, filmmaker, and photographer, and the founder of MAE The Third Production Company, working between Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She earned her B.A. in English and Film Production from Georgia State University, where she began building a multidisciplinary creative practice rooted in narrative.Before expanding into filmmaking, Shontel spent 12 years as a journalist, writing for publications including HuffPost, Modern Luxury, and Condé Nast Traveler. Her work has always centered people, place, and the stories that often go untold.
